Andrus Richardson reminiscences and photographs, [ca. 1900]-1946.

Reminiscences of life on the Mesabi Range (Minnesota) following the discovery of iron ore by Leonidas and Alfred Merritt. Richardson, their cousin, arrived in Duluth in 1890. He describes his prior family life in New York state, his mining ventures in Biwabik, his school teaching in the region, his work as a Methodist minister in the lumber camps and at other Minnesota parishes, and life in lumber camps and mining locations, and he reminisces about Merritt family members.
